What is a healthy keyword density?
Around 0.5-3% for the top term is a practical range. Above 5% reads as keyword stuffing to search filters, and under 0.5% means the page lacks a clear focus keyword.
Does keyword density still matter for SEO?
Not as a ranking lever — stuffing hurts more than optimizing helps. This checker treats density as a stuffing and focus signal, not a ranking guarantee.
Why check title overlap too?
The title tells search engines what the page is about. If none of the top-3 body terms appear in the title, the title and copy disagree about the topic.
